Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Episode 4 | SenpaiNEWS – Notice Me, Senpai!

The fourth episode of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai begins with Kaede and her cat watching the morning news. It is Friday, June 27th.

It seems like a normal day.

We find out that Mai gave her first kiss to Sakuta on the train when she was invisible to him! (after he had fallen asleep and had forgotten her)

The next day seems like another normal day. But, it appears all too familiar to Sakuta…

To Sakuta’s surprise, today is the SAME as yesterday! He realizes that he is stuck in Friday, June 27th.

Thankfully, Futaba believes him and his predicament.

Futaba’s advice is to find the thing, or person, that changes during each repeated day.

And after much searching, Sakuta finds the difference – Tomoe, the first-year student who he kicked in the park.

At that same moment, a guy who likes Tomoe walks in. Tomoe, afraid to confront him and let him know that she doesn’t like him, convinces Sakuta to hide behind the teaching desk with her.

Unfortunately, Sakuta and Tomoe accidentally fall on top of each other, just before Mai walks into the room, creating a very awkward moment for Sakuta.

After talking it over with Futaba, Sakuta realizes that the day keeps repeating because of Tomoe’s avoidance of the guy’s confession.

The next day, Sakuta and Kunimi meet their new coworker at the restaurant they work at. Surprisingly, it’s Tomoe! And ever more surprising, Sakuta hears that Tomoe’s friends believe that he’s dating her!

After work, Sakuta finds out why Tomoe lied to her friends.

Sakuta agrees to “date” Tomoe for the rest of the first term.

Thankfully, the episode ends with Mai coming to Sakuta’s apartment, with a heart of forgiveness and understanding.

In the third episode of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, we join Sakuta and Mai in the early morning. However, although Mai wakes up refreshed, Sakuta couldn’t sleep a wink…thankfully…

In a heart-breaking reminder, we find that Mai still can’t be seen by others.

Sakuta and Futaba are the only ones in the entire school, and city, that now remember who Mai is.

Futaba surmises that the cause of Mai’s Puberty Syndrome is due to the fact that she was “treated like the atmosphere.” The students and citizens felt that she was untouchable as a result of her celebrity status, which drove her out of their thoughts.

Futaba believes that once people fall asleep, their memories of Mai do not wake up.

Thankfully, both Futaba and Sakuta weren’t able to sleep last night, so they still remember who Mai is. We can only hope that they both stay awake until they solve Mai’s problem, until people remember her again.

Unfortunately, Futaba fell asleep, leaving Sakuta alone to help Mai. But in order to be prepared for the worst (not sleeping, forever), he writes a reminder of Mai in his journal, and sets off to buy caffeine and coffee.

Mai realizes what Sakuta is doing. And after several sleepless nights, we find Sakuta and Mai studying for an upcoming test. But, sadly, Mai gives Sakuta sleeping pills, which he cannot fight off. And, eventually, his eyelids become too heavy for him, and he slumbers aways.

The next day, Sakuta’s memorey of Mai is gone. He’s not sure why he wrote what he did in his journal.

And he can’t see Mai anymore.

Thankfully, Sakuta’s love for Mai reminds him of her. And realizing what he needs to do, he races off to the school field, where all can see him.

And shouts his love for Mai, hoping his courage and boldness will remind everyone of her.

And, thankfully, Sakuta reappears. And everyone, including Sakuta, can now see and remember Mai.

In the fifth episode of A Sister’s All You Need, Miyako spots Itsuki sneaking off to somewhere.

Itsuki’s going to Karaoke, but not to sing…

Itsuki is hiding from his agent while he frantically tries to meet his manuscript’s deadline. Unfortunately, his agent is one step in front of him.

Kenjiro forces Itsuki to work at his office. Thankfully, there are novelists that meet deadlines, like Haruto.

On the other hand, when you can’t meet a looming deadline, RUN!

Itsuki sneaks off to the public bathing house, but once again, he can never escape his agent…

Kenjiro takes things up a level – locking Itsuki in a confined room until he finishes his manuscript…he has three days…

After much internal turmoil, Itsuki sees the light – it’s been in him all along. He can finish his manuscriptions in time. He can write exceptional novels, just like his competition and friends. He is a novelist.

Itsuki is proud of his work, and he should be!

And even though he has a long way to go to accomplish his dreams, he’s racing towards them.

A Sister’s All You Need, Episode 4 | SenpaiNEWS – Notice Me, Senpai!

In the fourth episode of A Sister’s All You Need, Itsuki faces a difficult challenge: writing a summary for a novel. This is a hard task to complete, because Itsuki still hasn’t thought of the whole novel yet.

Thankfully, after many hours, Itsuki finishes!

The next day Haruto stops by with chocolate and stout – to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

Nayuta and Miyako join the dinner party at an awkward moment!

Nayuta and Miyako bring Valentine’s treats for the guys.

There is also an unexpected guest…Kenjiro!

Even though he’s a little angry with Itsuki’s unfinished manuscript, he brings chocolates from readers for Itsuki and Haruto.

And in order to receive his tax rebate, Itsuki’s accountant, Ashley Ono, comes by to straighten out Itsuki’s recordings.

She’s younger (looking) than he thought she would be.

She embarrasses Itsuki by asking about all of his little sister parafernalia. But, on the bright side, she’s able to deduct all of his collections, video games, and books as expenses for his taxes.

The following day, Itsuki reminisces about his experience with Ashley with Haruto, who has also hired her before his taxes.

Suddenly, Ashley appears to return Itsuki’s receipt to him. Haruto is immediately horrified and embarrassed as his memories of working with Ashley surface in his mind.

A Sister’s All You Need, Episode 3 | SenpaiNEWS – Notice Me, Senpai!

At the start of the third episode of A Sister’s All You Need, it’s really cold! Itsuki, Nayuta, and Miyako discuss what do, as none of them can concentrate in the freezing apartment. They decide to go to Okinawa! Their excuse?

Research!

At Okinawa, they have a really tasty dinner by the ocean. And, as usual, Nayuta is a little straightforward with her attraction to Itsuki.

That night, Nayuta falls asleep, and Miyako visits Itsuki’s room.

Itsuki has already turned down Nayuta before! Even though she’s so aggressive these days.

The three have a fun swim the next day.

Once back from their “research” in Okinawa, Itsuki describes his new beach-centered novel with his favorite illustrator, Setsuna Ena.

This prompts Setsuna’s appetite for salmon roe. Together, they embark on finding some.

IN HOKKAIDO!!

While waiting for their plane back home, Setsuna announces that he’s going to cancel his flight and stay in Hokkaido for a little while longer.

Kenjiro, who is Setsuna’s agent as well, does not find that news too appealing, considering his upcoming deadlines…

All in all, Itsuki’s trips to Kokkaido and Okinawa were successful “research” trips.

And the third episode of A Sister’s All You Need ends with a nice meal between brother and “brother.”

A Sister’s All You Need, Episode 2 | SenpaiNEWS – Notice Me, Senpai!

In the second episode of A Sister’s All You Need, Itsuki is acting out a part in his new novel. Unfortunately, although this novel-prep is normal amongst other novelists, it can be a little embarrassing in front of others.

Even Haruto runs into Itsuki at an awkward time.

We find out a little bit more of how Itsuki met Miyako in college.

Unfortunately, it didn’t go off on the best foot forward. Itsuki said some mean words which Miyako didn’t tolerate. But, this first encounter spearheaded into a great friendship between the two.

Itsuki dropped out of college midway in order to fully pursue his novelist career. This decision hurt Miyako’s heart, but she tried not to show it.

While Miyako and Nayuta hang out together, we learn that Nayuta suffered from a very lonely, dark, and cold childhood.

But, Senpai’s novels saved her and her heart.

As novelists, it’s important to keep in touch with your fans. Haruto is the king of social media selfies.

Because of his busy schedule, Haruto’s younger sister wishes she could spend more time with him – but she only hints this through an angered facade.

The ending of the second episode of A Sister’s All You Need is filled with a mixture of sadness, aspiration, and reality: Itsuki monologues how we search and try so hard for something, while other people already have it, and don’t realize how special it truly is.

A Sister’s All You Need, Episode 1 | SenpaiNEWS – Notice Me, Senpai!

In the first episode of A Sister’s All You Need, we meet Itsuki Hashima waking up in the morning and being greeted by his “sister.” The opening scene is quite graphic and provocative, so we’ve included our first image of the breakfast he ate instead…

The opening (and very lewd) scene turned out to be a fictional story written by Itsuki! Itsuki is a young novelists, and his agent, who very much disliked Itsuki’s new story, is Kenjiro Toki.

We soon find out that Itsuki is in love with little sisters, and all of his stories center around them!

While walking away, Kenjiro runs into Itsuki’s younger brother, Chihiro. And soon later, all of Itsuki’s closest friends join him in his apartment.

Miyako is a friend from Itsuki’s previous college, and Nayuta is a famous, young novelists. Haruto is also a novelists, who might feel a bit competitive towards Itsuki.

Itsuki and his friends love to play board and thinking games together. They are all very smart and creative!

Itsuki thinks he’s the most clever out of his friends…

As young novelists dreaming for success, deadlines are a main priority.

In the first episode of A Sister’s All You Need, we see how much Itsuki means to Nayuta, an aspiring and successful novelist who had a hard childhood.

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Episode 2 | SenpaiNEWS – Notice Me, Senpai!

Towards the end of the first episode of Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, Futaba and Sakuta began to discuss the reason behind Mai’s Puberty Syndrome – no one being able to see Mai. The second episode begins with Futaba further explaining this concept.

At a grocery store, Sakuta tests to see if other people can’t see Mai.

And then THIS HAPPENED!

We find out that Mai stopped acting due to her mother, who is also her manager.

In order to find out more about Mai (in order to help her!), Sakuta asked his acquaintance in the media industry about her. Unfortunately, Sakuta had to give an expose about his hospitalization incident in order to get information about Mai. Thankfully, Mai stopped the article about Sakuta being published.

Along the way to meeting Mai, Sakuta finds a lost little girl. He was going to help her find her mother, but Tomoe, a first year student at Sakuta’s high school, thinks Sakuta is trying to steal her. She kicks him, but after understanding the situation, realizes she was wrong – thus, Sakuta got to have his comeuppance.

Needless to say, Sakuta was late for his date with Mai.

On the train, Mai and Sakuta get closer.

Sakuta and Mai meet with Mai’s mom, and their worst thoughts are true – not even Mai’s mother remembers her. They have to solve Mai’s Puberty Syndrome before it’s too late…

Sakuta calls Kunimi and Futaba, and to his surprise, they both remember Mai! Unfortunately, the next day would be different.

After a long day of trying to find people who remember Mai (only Kunimi and Futaba), Mai and Sakuta go to sleep (in the same bed).

As the episode comes to a close, we can only hope that Sakuta, Kunimi, and Futaba don’t forget about Mai either.

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai is one of the most popular anime series of Winter 2018. The main character is Sakuta Azusagawa, a second-year student at a high school near Enoshima. As we’ll soon discover in our first blog post for this great anime series, Sakuta and his friends witness and experience first-hand “Puberty Syndrome.”

With a beautiful yet somber piano tune playing, Bunny Girl Senpai‘s opening scene is with Sakuta dreaming (or reminiscing, as we’ll soon see) of a girl named Mai Sakurajima.

Sakuta finds something written in his journal

The next day Sakuta talks to Mai for the first time. A very unexpected encounter.

Confused, Sakuta asks his best friend, Kunimi, about Mai. Unfortunately, this results in Kunimi’s overly aggressive girlfriend to become angered. She really doesn’t like it when her boyfriend talks with Sakuta, due to Sakuta’s previous (yet unknown to us) “hospitalization” incident.
