At the start of third episode of The Price of Smiles, Grandiga Empire has just defeated an enemy town. Stella is very nonchalant and doesn’t mind the war. She’s always smiling.
Generals of Grandiga Empire believe that Soleil is using a new chrar development to grow food and resources. If those rations spread to Soleil’s army, Grandiga will be greatly disadvantaged. Stella’s task force is charged with investigating the facility.
The Grandiga task force arrives to the Soleil location.
When asked if she had the chance to kill Princess Yuki, Stella says that she would, if ordered too.
The Grandiga troops disguise themselves as laundry personnel. They check out all of the buildings in the development.
In the food hall, Stella and her commanding officer meet two impoverished kids.
There are more impoverished kids living in the development. They are all war orphans.
The kids tell Stella and her commander that Soleil troops have been occupying the building behind them.

They find the chrar development, the rumors were true.
The Grandiga generals tell Stella and her team to destroy the facility, regardless of civilian casualties. If they don’t succeed in two hours, they will send missiles to destroy the whole compound.
The task force infiltrates the facility at night.
The commanding officer tells his troops to carry out the mission while he runs an “errand.”
The officer saves the impoverished kids before the explosions occur.
Grandiga is successful in their mission.
But the kids are reluctant to go with them after realizing that they are part of the same army that killed their parents and families.
Stella threatens to shoot Lana to convince them to come before the facility blows up.
Once in a safe area, the kids run away from Stella and her comrades.
Stella sits alone, watching the sunset and eating a candy. She’s still smiling, as if nothing was wrong. Her commander calls her mad. Poor Stella 😦
