At the start of the fifteenth episode of the third season of Food Wars (Shokugeki no Soma), the advancement exams are underway. Elite Ten are also flying out to the testing locations. I wonder why?

The day’s exam deals with noodles, but every student is on his own. Totsuki will prepare all of the noodles and broth, but students must wait until their hall is called before retrieving ingredients.

But if students are missing any ingredients, they will be tasked with sourcing their own.

The rebels are in the same hall, but they wait and wait until they’re the last students left.

Oh no! When the rebels finally enter the ingredient room, they find that all of the noodles have been taken!

They have to go find their own ingredients, but they can’t leave the hall because of the snowstorm!

The professor receives word that the rebels are back, and they’re cooking! But how!

The rebels ingeniously make noodles out of potatoes – gosetsu udon!

All of the rebels pass! ^.^

To celebrate passing the advancement class, the students get to enjoy their night in the city. Polar Star members and friends try different food stands and restaurants together as well as go sight seeing.

Nikumi can relate to Erina’s childhood issues.

Erina, Soma, Megumi and Takumi go eat at a restaurant together!

When they board the train, Erina receives a frantic call from Hisako. They are on different trains!

And each rebel has to now face a member of the Elite Ten! If they lose, they’re expelled.

At the start of the fourteenth episode of the third season of Food Wars (Shokugeki no Soma), Polar Star is excited that Erina will start to teach them and prepare them for Central’s advancement exams.

But will they be able to compete with the other students who are being personally taught by both Azami and the Elite Ten?

Hisako explains how each advancement exam will be in a different location in Japan. The students will travel by bus and train.

Nikumi and the Aldini twins join the study groups ^.^

The students’ first location will be in snowy Hokkaido.

If you fail an exam, you’re immediately sent back to Totsuki.

In the first test, all of the rebels are grouped together.

But Central is separating Erina from Polar Star.

Soma’s group is tasked with making salmon. Not that hard, but the “catch” is that they have to replicate the dish taught in Central’s class.

Making matters worse, Soma’s group was given a salmon in horrible condition. They have to think quick!

That doesn’t bother Polar Star though! The group races out of the classroom in search of finding their own salmon.

They return with a magnificent looking fish. In fact, Polar Star’s salmon is even higher in quality than the other students’. Soma and his team has to hurry, though, as there’s only 30 minutes left.

Soma and his friends did it! They were able to create a beautiful and delicious Yuan-style Grilled Tokishirazu Salmon!

The students that passed take the train by night to their next location.

Everyone stops by Erina’s compartment to show their appreciation of her help and teaching.

Soma is the last to stop by.

Erina looks at Soma differently as they stare off in the night sky ^.^

At the start of the thirteenth episode of the third season of Food Wars (Shokugeki no Soma), Eishi announces Central’s latest plot to disband the rebels: advancement exams. Each Totsuki student will take cooking exams that are tailored to benefit those that follow Central’s teachings. If you fail, you are expelled.

Erina asks to step into Soma’s room. She’s conflicted, whether to agree with her father’s teachings or side with a love for food. The first time she felt a love for food was when she tasted a dish made by Joichiro.

Soma wants Erina to remember those feelings she felt by cooking her a classic Yukihira dish.

Polar Star members are worried that Soma might feed her one of his grotesque creations…

Soma cooks her fried boiled egg. He ingeniously froze the hard boiled eggs in order to fry them while keeping the yolk runny.

Soma wants to show Erina, and the world, what heights you can reach when you open your mind to cooking and ingredients.

Soma reminds Erina of Joichiro.

Instead of telling Soma how she felt about his dish, she commands Soma to rally Polar Star members to the front of the dorm tomorrow morning.

Erina has decided that she wants to help everyone to the best of her abilities pass the advancement exams. She’s going to train them with all she’s got! ^.^

At the start of the twelfth episode of the third season of Food Wars (Shokugeki no Soma), Eishi and Soma are having their cooking match. If Eishi wins, Soma will become his personal assistant at Central. If Soma wins, he will gain Eishi’s First Seat.

Soma adds a special ingredient to his dish: chestnuts!

The two realize that they haven’t figured out how to judge their dishes, so Soma sticks his head out the window and asks the girls to judge.

Both Soma and Eishi’s dishes are beautiful. But who’s will reign supreme?

And the winner is…

Eishi!

Thankfully, he’s decided that he doesn’t want Soma to join him after all. Soma’s unpredictability would cause him too much anxiety.

Meanwhile, the club Shokugekis are raging on. Megumi wins her match for the Culinary Research Society.

Eishi tells Azami that Soma is from Polar Star.

Someone knocks on Polar Star’s door. Soma goes to see who it is.

It’s Azami!

Fumio makes the former First Seat leave. Erina stays at the dorm.

Soma walks out of Polar Star before Azami leaves. As Azami used to live in Polar Star, he asks him out he could be okay with Polar Star being shut down. And Soma also tells Azami that Joichiro is his father! Azami and Erina are shocked!

At the start of the second episode of Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka, Asuka finds her ex-commander waiting for her in her own apartment. He asks her one more time to reconsider rejoining the army. She declines.

Sayoko is still recovering from yesterday’s terrorist attack. She barely ate while at the police station.

Nozomi is really glad that Sayoko is okay. Nozomi tells them how her dad works at the police station.

Meanwhile, another terrorist attack is preparing to take place.

The Queen’s assistant gives the men a special “gift” – a magical halloween biological weapon.

The girls talk about what it must be like to be a Magical Girl. Asuka replies that it must be a struggle to be sane while having so much power.

The Queen calls her assistant. She refers to themselves as bad “Magical Girls.”

Sayoko has a panic attack.

Asuka receives a call from her ex-commander. There’s a fight going on with Magic, War Nurse is heading over there right now. She needs backup.

Asuka had originally convinced War Nurse to become a Magical Girl. Asuka promised to always protect her.

The Halloween bear is attacking everything. War Nurse Kurumi can barely hold on.

Asuka arrives just in time. She synchronizes with the spirit Sacchuu and defeats the bear.

The Queen’s assistant has her own spirit.

After Asuka left the army, she asked the commander to keep her phone number a secret from the other girls.

The next day at school, there is a new transfer student – Kurumi!

At the start of the first episode of Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka, we meet Magical Girl Asuka battling a giant monster. Magical Girls were created when a military alliance was formed between the Spirit Realm and Earth in order to fight off the Disas. Select girls could now synchronize with spirits to gain magical powers.

The last battle that Asuka fought in as a Magical Girl was against the king of Disas, a giant fire monster. Four of the nine Magical Girls were lost that day.

Asuka now lives a normal, quiet life as a transfer student. Two girls admire Asuka’s athletic abilities.

Due to the war she fought in, Asuka suffers from scary illusions of monsters and Disas. It’s hard to forget the sights she has seen.

A man drops a cigarette on one of the girl’s shoes, and pushes the other to the ground. Asuka was near them, and quickly pins the man down.

The dark-haired girl is Makino Nozomi.

And the girl with glasses is Hata Sayoko.

Asuka tells them that she’s constantly reading or thinking in order to not remember bad things.

A man from her war times meets her in front of her school. They talk at a nearby cafe. He asks her to rejoin the army. All of her Magical Girl comrades are fighting or working for the military again.

She tells him that people near her die when she fights, just like her parents.

Asuka joins Nozomi’s track club.

And she joins Sayoko’s book club.

Terrorist Kim Kanth is being transported by military personnel.

He escapes and begins hurting bystanders!

Oh no! He’s about to hurt Sayoko!

Asuka quickly transforms into a Magical Girl and saves Sayoko. She takes down the bad guys.

A mysterious woman known as the Queen is watching Asuka from afar.

A Magical Girl can never stop fighting.

At the start of the second episode of THE PROMISED NEVERLAND, Emma can’t sleep. She keeps dreaming of the monsters that she witnessed at the gate.

Emma is petrified at breakfast, but Norman discreetly tells her to smile. They must act normal so mom doesn’t figure out that it was them who left the bunny doll.

They determine that kids are shipped off depending on their weight, age and brain size. They only have 2 months until the next shipment.

They start to strategize. First step, explore the boundary of the compound.

They find a giant wall that is 2-3 meters thick.

When the kids gather back at the house, one is missing. A little girl is lost in the forest.

Mom opens a compass-looking device and knows where to look. It must be a tracking device, and she’s purposely showing it, so the kid or kids that left the bunny at the gate know that she can track them.

How can they run away and not get tracked?

Emma is stressed, sad, and scared.

Mom shows up behind Emma all of a sudden! Emma is petrified, but tries not to show it.

Emma acts as if nothing was wrong. That was close, too close.

As Norman and Emma walk down stairs, the unthinkable happens: mom asks if they were at the gate last night. Norman and Emma casually answer that they weren’t because it’s against the rules.

Norman and Emma hide bed sheets in a tree by the wall to use for their escape.

Ray found Emma and Norman. He quickly believes their story about mom and the demons.

Emma wants to save all of the children, but Ray says that it would be impossible.

And if they live on a human farm, the outside world must not be friendly towards humans.

Regardless, Emma is adamant about saving everyone. Norman, although he believes it might be impossible too, wants to save everyone for Emma. He likes her, and doesn’t want to see her cry again.

When they return to the orphanage, they find a new little sister, but also a new adult. Or rather, reinforcements to stop them from escaping.

At the start of the first episode of THE PROMISED NEVERLAND, two young boys and one young girl are discussing what life would be outside of this gate. Their mom has never let them passed this point before. What are they being protected from, and what is on the other side?

The young boys and girl live in a nice looking house in the middle of a forest.

And it’s not just a house, but a bordering house for orphans!

The girl’s name is Emma, the white-haired boy is named Norman, and the dark-haired boy is Ray.

All of the orphans really love their “mom.”

Each orphan has a number tattooed to their neck.

The orphans regularly take tests where they scan barcodes. Most boys and girls don’t score that high, but Norman, Ray and Emma all get perfect scores. Jealous, the other kids challenge Norman to a game of tag.

Emma is the last one not tagged. But thanks to Norman’s ability to strategize, he catches her.

The kids are not done, yet. This time they want everyone to be “it” and try to catch Norman.

Emma finds Norman staring at a low, harmless-looking fence. This fence surrounds the orphanage’s compound, but they are not allowed to cross it, per mom’s orders.

The other kids talk about how no one that leaves the orphanage ever writes back to them? Why not, they’re practically closer than family, right?

That night is Conny’s last day in the orphanage. She promises to write to everyone and to grow up to be an adult just like mom.

Mom escorts Conny through the fence.

They hear someone coming, they dash under the truck.

A giant monster drops a vase with a human in it. What is going on! There’s multiple monsters, and mom is there too!

They smell something peculiar. One of the monsters looks under the truck.

Thankfully, Norman and Emma make it away. The monster, and mom, find the bunny.

They don’t tell Ray about it, but try to calm themselves together.

Their orphanage is actually a farm, and they’re the meat.

At the start of third episode of The Price of Smiles, Grandiga Empire has just defeated an enemy town. Stella is very nonchalant and doesn’t mind the war. She’s always smiling.

Generals of Grandiga Empire believe that Soleil is using a new chrar development to grow food and resources. If those rations spread to Soleil’s army, Grandiga will be greatly disadvantaged. Stella’s task force is charged with investigating the facility.

The Grandiga task force arrives to the Soleil location.

When asked if she had the chance to kill Princess Yuki, Stella says that she would, if ordered too.

The Grandiga troops disguise themselves as laundry personnel. They check out all of the buildings in the development.

In the food hall, Stella and her commanding officer meet two impoverished kids.

There are more impoverished kids living in the development. They are all war orphans.

The kids tell Stella and her commander that Soleil troops have been occupying the building behind them.

They find the chrar development, the rumors were true.

The Grandiga generals tell Stella and her team to destroy the facility, regardless of civilian casualties. If they don’t succeed in two hours, they will send missiles to destroy the whole compound.

The task force infiltrates the facility at night.

The commanding officer tells his troops to carry out the mission while he runs an “errand.”

The officer saves the impoverished kids before the explosions occur.

Grandiga is successful in their mission.

But the kids are reluctant to go with them after realizing that they are part of the same army that killed their parents and families.

Stella threatens to shoot Lana to convince them to come before the facility blows up.

Once in a safe area, the kids run away from Stella and her comrades.

Stella sits alone, watching the sunset and eating a candy. She’s still smiling, as if nothing was wrong. Her commander calls her mad. Poor Stella 😦
